I can't believe how fast 9weeks can pass. This has been quite the journey with this blogging thing. I must admit I really didn't get a chance to check out any other blogs but I'm pretty they were all great in there own way. 

 What advice would you now give to someone writing his/her first scientific paper? 

After writing my paper, my advice would be to pick a topic you know about. When you think of scientific automatically research comes to mind. At least to mine it did. I thought that I would be research and writing about the information I found. Needless to say I was wrong. I knew about my topic but not as much I needed for my paper. So when the time comes for you to choose, choose something you know about. I think choosing something that you can write a paper on without doing a lot of research on will be your best bet.

Paper needs more

Well fellow bloggers the end is here. Which means our research papers are due next week! I must say that I'm not that thrilled about research papers. It was fun learning about new things about the topic I chose but I realized that you need to know a nice amount of info before picking your topic.  I have a few more editing things to take care and my paper will be done. Its been a long process, from deciding on a topic, researching, and starting the paper process. I don't think writing this paper would have been as bad if I didn't have two papers to write for another class. So between this and my other class, I'm glad it's over. I need a break from all this writing.

Research Paper Issues

Howdy Partners

Well I hope everyone New Year has been well. Now I must admit I haven't been really got back into my paper since our break but that will change this week, lol.

The only thing that I can think of as a problem with my paper is that dang thesis statement. I have the information but still can't come up with a decent statement. As far comments, it doesn't bother me that no one has commented on my blogs. I think I may commented on one or two early off in the semester. I understand that this is new for a lot us and maybe don't want to comment or even don't like blogging. I'm fine either way it goes. This blogging this is kind of cool. I don't know if I would blog everyday but when I feel I need to vent or talk about something to world then this just might be the place.  

Research Paper

Hello all,

   I found writing this research paper was a little stressful. The main issue I'm having is with that dang thesis statement. Overall I think my paper was OK. I simply loved the feedback I received after some of my classmates read it. Because I wasn't sure on a couple of things. I was giving some great suggestions that I am going to include in my paper. Once those changes are made and I do a little more tweaking I think I will be satisfied with the ending results.

New Begining

Hi my fellow bloggers,

     Let me start by saying I hope everyone had a great Christmas! Mine was OK, I got really home sick but those feelings has passed because we are approaching a New Year. There is nothing like having that option of turning a new leaf in life. That's what I plan to do for 2011. This year has not been the best year for me. I lost what I considered a second mom, friends (at least I thought they were), relationship and host of another things. As the new year rings in, I am not going to dwell on the past but get prepared for the future! Happy New Year everyone!!!!!

Feeling Better

Well from last week to this week. My back and leg is feeling a lot better. I still haven't made to the doctor yet and I'm praying the it will be before the holiday weekend. Some how I don't think it will work out like that seeing how this past week the weather has been crazy here in TN. So things have been backed up some. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed,lol. I've been trying to get my draft done for my paper but that's been going a little rough. Not having access to the Internet at home and dealing with this pain is making hard on my time management. Oh well, that's life for you.

UGH!!!!

Let me start by saying sorry I missed the last post assignment. I've been having a terrible time lately with an injury I encountered at work. Come to find out that I had an herniated disc erupted and now a piece of that disc is pressing on a nerve in my lower back. When it first happened I was in some terrible pain but was able to move around more. Now with the weather change and I think that piece is moving or something. It's getting harder for me to get around. If anyone has ever dealt with a work related injury you know that make you wait forever between your doctors appointments. It's been over a week since I've last seen my doctor and it is so frustrating being in all this pain and can't do anything but take the medicine they gave me which really isn't working anymore. I will be so glad when all of this is over!  I would say more but the pain is taking my concentration. Bye for now all.
